2015, Seong-Jin Cho rose to international prominence after winning first prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition. Yet his artistry has never been defined by Chopin alone. From collaborations with leading orchestras including the Berlin Philharmonic and Vienna Philharmonic to repertoire spanning Debussy, Mozart, Handel, Ravel and beyond, Cho has continued to broaden his musical horizons. With playing celebrated for its poetry, purity and remarkable sense of balance, he has established himself as one of the most compelling pianists of his generation.
In 2026, Seong-Jin Cho returns to Taiwan with Chopin once again at the heart of his programme. On Saturday, October 31 at 3:00 PM, he presents works by Bach, Chopin, Schumann and Schönberg—a journey through the piano repertoire, from the Baroque era through Romanticism to the twentieth century.

2015년 쇼팽 국제 피아노 콩쿠르에서 우승하며 세계 음악계의 주목을 받은 조성진. 그러나 그의 음악 세계는 쇼팽에만 머물지 않았습니다. 베를린 필하모닉, 빈 필하모닉을 비롯한 세계 정상급 오케스트라와의 협연은 물론, 드뷔시와 모차르트, 헨델, 라벨 등 시대를 넘나드는 폭넓은 음악를 통해 자신의 음악적 영역을 끊임없이 확장해왔습니다. 시적이면서도 순수하고, 놀라울 만큼 균형 잡힌 연주로 오늘날 가장 주목받는 피아니스트 중 한 명으로 자리매김했습니다.
